Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists Inc. (VRSI)

The Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor provides and coordinates a wide range of rehabilitation counseling and case management services to veterans with disabilities and other eligible individuals. Performs initial evaluations, does rehabilitation planning and problem solving, and conducts counseling. Duties include coordination and implementation of rehabilitation services, case documentation, employment services, and administration and interpretation of vocational testing. Make recommendations and referrals to other sources, which may assist the veteran/client.

Vocational rehabilitation evaluations may include: comprehensive client background interview, occupational interest testing, achievement testing, aptitude testing, work samples/tasks, situational work tasks, career exploration & counseling, and staffing of results.
